Air Sonic is a commercial airline that has appeared in every Airport Hero game and is also a cameo to the game's creator, Sonic Powered.

Description

Air Sonic has appeared in every AH game to date, but unlike other airlines that were carried on through the series, it remained (for the most part) the same, the only thing that changed was the aircraft they operate and the destinations they flew to. The player also usually finds them as an Emergency at times.

Air Sonic is fairly rare in most games appearing about once every 3 three stages (on average). Air Sonic doesn't operate mainly international flights, as far as we know, they only operate flights to Honolulu , Shanghai, Anchorage, and Beijing. They do operate many domestic flights in Japan, however, flying to Sendai, New Chitose, Hiroshima, and Osaka.

AH Honolulu

In Honolulu, ASC almost always uses the Boeing 767, flying from there to large Japanese cities. However, in the final stage of the game, a 777 was seen. They will usually start at the central gates of the airport. What many players find a nuisance is that Air Sonic flights always request runway 8L for departure. Since this runway is usually very busy, it adds to the traffic and makes it harder for the player, especially in the final stage where multiple ASC flights appear in Honolulu.

Air Sonic also had another surprise in Honolulu. The airline had a small seaplane used as a sightseeing plane. It is suspected that this plane was actually a private plane since they did not use the ASC call sign, it is also classified as private aircraft.

AH Narita (Air Sonic Express)

In AH Narita, the airline is only seen using small passenger planes like the CRJ on domestic routes. Not one 767 or 777 is seen. In order to separate the two versions, this airline is more often referred to as Air Sonic Express, however, this is not an officially recognized airline.

ASC Express flights in Narita generally arrive from other places, so the player won't normally see them on the ground. However, the player must keep in mind when handling an Air Sonic CRJ is that they are very slow. They must be on the ground as quick as possible, so they should not be directed to farther runways, and go-arounds are out of the question unless absolutely necessary. ASC flights in Narita always start out in the same area as the budget airlines like Azix and Star Rocket.

AH Narita with ANA

In AH Narita's spinoff game, Airport Hero Narita with ANA. Air Sonic's 767 Doesn't appear on the actual game. But on the Demos. Like in the HNL Demo of Narita with ANA. It has been spotted operating the 777 From and to Narita. And in the HND with JAL Demo, it operates the B767-300 from New York's JFK Airport. Frequently appearing as Arrival and Departure.

AH Osaka-KIX

In 2017, when AH Osaka-KIX was released, Air Sonic took on a totally different role. Every time an ASC flight would appear in the game, it would appear as an emergency flight (or EMG) and require an immediate landing. There are several different types of EMG flights. All of them are arrivals (except for one departure, where the flight stalls on the runway and taxis back to it's gate). When you see an ASC flight in-game, you must be cautious. (more instructions on the EMG article)

AH Haneda (Air Sonic Cargo)

Main article: Air Sonic Cargo

In Airport Hero Haneda with JAL, it was revealed that Air Sonic had a subsidiary cargo airline called Air Sonic Cargo. They use the Boeing 747F to transport cargo. This is the only instance of a cargo version of passenger airline ever appearing in-game.

Airport Hero All-Stars: Kankuu (Kansai)

This Airline now appears as a freighter. Appearing in numerous stages. The livery now has changed for the freighters with the Air Sonic Appearing small up in the Fuselage. With a large gray text saying "CARGO" on the bottom of the Air Sonic title. If these flights appear as emergency (Which it does in the game) The player has to land them in the least busiest runway like Runways 6L/24R. The only thing is that freighters originating from the International Cargo terminal next to it will have to taxi to runways 6R/24L. Thus having a chance interfering with other planes near the International and Domestic terminal.

For Normal flights. They will appear as departures with flights to Shanghai and Anchorage. Occupying the Freight terminal Next to R6L and 24R. The most convenient taxi route will be to taxi them to Runway 6L and 24R. Only thing is to watchout for any Peach Airlines Flights near/around that area.
