Airport Hero New Chitose (also known as Airport Hero New Chitose with JAL and known in Japan as Airport Hero Shin Chitose) is an Airport Hero game only available in Japan.
Game Information
New Chitose is a medium-sized airport that serves the city of Sapporo in northern Japan. New Chitose first made its appearance in the Airport Hero series as part of an expansion pack for Airport Hero Chaos. It was also a part of the PSP version.
Similar to Airport Hero Haneda, Japan Airlines (JAL) steps in to replace Japan Skylines, along with JAL's regional subsidiary, J-Air. As for the other airlines, it features All Japan Airways making a return from Airport Hero Narita, as well as some other new airlines that haven't been seen in other games.
This game was the only one on the 3DS to have snowstorms as weather and one of two to have military aircraft make an appearance. In the game, snow can make landing harder for planes, and at some cases, requires a snowplow team to remove the thick snow from a runway. Aside from that, the snow is a beautiful addition to the series.
Although this game wasn't very popular, the ones who did see it found it disappointing that the features were not included in Kansai.
Features are also fairly similar to the mainstream games. It has the extra camera views like in Kansai, and it also has Hero Coins first featured in Narita. It was also reported that Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) F-15J Eagles appeared as somewhat regular traffic in-game.
Airport Information
New Chitose Airport serves as the largest airport in Hokkaidō, adjacent to Chitose Air Base, a Japan Air Self-
Defense Force base which houses F-15J Eagle fighter jets, the Japanese Air Force One government aircraft and a number of smaller emergency response aircraft and helicopters. Chitose AB and New Chitose have separate runways but are interconnected by taxiways, and aircraft at either facility can enter the other by ground if permitted; the runways at Chitose AB are occasionally used to relieve runway closures at New Chitose due to winter weather. JASDF provides air traffic control for both facilities.
The game version of New Chitose Airport has the main terminal for domestic flights, international flights, as well as Chitose Air Base, with parking areas for the Japan Coast Guard, the government aircraft, and the Japanese Air Self Defense Force.

Features
Snowplow team
The only game to have a snowplow team. In-game, they appear on the departures board whenever one of the runways is almost covered in ice and snow, further noted by landing aircraft reporting of poor braking action before switching to ground frequency. When a snowplow team is sweeping snow and ice off the runway, the runway will be closed and as such, aircraft will not be able to land/takeoff on that runway, but may still cross to the runway beside it. If a runway is closed, be aware of the traffic you're handling so a collision will not occur between departures and arrivals.
Military aircraft
As mentioned, they are one of the two games to include military aircraft. Now and then, there would be arriving and departing JASDF F-15Js, and in some cases, they will do a touch-and-go before circling around to land. In addition, in the last stage in-game, the Japanese Government's Boeing 747-400 government transport will make an appearance, as well as the presidential aircraft of the United States, the Boeing VC-25A, known as Air Force One.
Staff Bus
A small, blue-colored bus will, on rare occasions, appear on the departures board, traveling from the control tower to the airbase, and vice versa. As they're a slow-moving vehicle, players will need to be aware of its presence so it does not obstruct the path of JASDF fighters.
