A string of JAL flights at New Chitose Airport.

A JAL Boeing 767-300 kicking up snow with its reverse thrust after landing from Fukuoka Airport
Japan Airlines (commonly known as JAL) is a real-life airline that appears in special edition Airport Hero games.
Description[]
Japan Airlines is one of the largest Japanese airlines that make a common appearance in multiple Airport Hero games. The livery is the exact match with JAL's present-day livery in real life. It appears in Airport Hero All-Stars, Airport Hero New Chitose, and Airport Hero Haneda with JAL.
Japan Airlines is represented in the mainstream games as Japan Skylines, and they have two budget subsidiaries, being Japan TransOcean Air and J-Air.
In Operation Mode (New Chitose with JAL), Japan Airlines is a very common airline that appears, departing/arriving to/from Tokyo-Haneda Airport, and occasionally from other destinations (e.g. Fukuoka), operating the Boeing 777-200 & 300, Boeing 767-300, and Boeing 737-800. As a common appearance, take note of other traffic and plan out arrivals and departures frequently, especially with military traffic around, also making sure that ATC frequencies don't get clogged.
JAL also appears in all three editions of Airport Hero All-Stars. Like in the normal version of AH Narita, JAL is the secondary main airline to All Nippon Airways.
AH: Naha-Premium
Japan Airlines is the primary airline in the game. They frequently appear both as Arrival and Departure, and frequently operate the 767-300, 777-200, and 777-300. Japan Airlines Appear through all the gates. But mainly they use Gates 21, through 27. These planes are actually somewhat fast. So taxi'ing them to Runway 18 and 34 are both somewhat safe. But when it comes to 777s; The player has to be pretty precise on how they taxi them. Since they taxi fast, they can interfere with smaller planes and result in a Collision. So the player will have to taxi them to runway 18. But when whatever circumstance happens like opposite wind direction, they will have to taxi to runway 34, and players will have to be Extra-careful for what they command, as they can interfere with other arrivals.
Now as arrivals, They seem to operate the 777-200 and 300. So if they have little time to land, its best to direct them to Runway 18 Via "OKUMA" Route. But runway 34 is also very convenient.
AH: Haneda with JAL
In AH Haneda, Japan Airlines is the primary airline and most frequent airline appearing throughout the game. Frequently operating their 737, 767, 777, and 787. And they very frequently appear both as Arrival and Departure. With a healthy mix of Domestic and International.
Now as Departures, JAL Flights commonly both on Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 (Int'l Terminal); Occupying Gate: 22 Through Gate: 6. For some reason, they dont appear on Gates: 24, 23, 1, 2, 3, and 4. And for planes they operate the 737-400, the 737-800, 767-300(and -ER's), the 777, and 787. Before they pushback, they usually ask to taxi to Runways: 16R, 16L, 34R, and 05. The Closest runway the player can pick is Runway 16R, right behind Terminal 1. This runway is really convenient to use if you wanna lift these planes quickly. Though there are precautions since its the main runway and the most busiest, So it can interfere alot of planes landing and colliding. But there are safer options like Runway 16L, 34R, and 05. Though this can slightly risk interfering with planes on Terminal 2 Like APA's, SkyAsia's and whatnot.
For Planes Parked on Terminal 3, They usually appear occupying all gates. In this terminal, they operate their 767's, 777's, and 787's. The planes usually asks to use Runway 16R and 34R. Now when the planes taxi'ing, they have to control the planes much more precisely. Cause this is the busiest section of the Airport. Now runway 16R is the most convenient if you want to lift them quickly but leads them to risk because they can interfere with other planes who taxi to T3. And once the plane makes it to the runway. They have to hold short because of the landing planes, and may possibly lead them to a penalty. So the safer choice is Runway 34R, Since its less busier and decreases the chance of a collision. But like I said earlier: It can interfere with other planes on T2.
Now as for arrivals, They operate all of their fleet. Now these planes can land on all 4 runways, 34R, 34L, 23, and 22. Now if theyre a domestic flight, The planes can land at 34L, but keep in mind once theyre on the ground. It can interfere with planes with Terminal 1, the good things is that the terminal is literally right next to the runway. So they can taxi to the gate quickly. But it isnt recommended to land them at Runway 22, Unless theyre an Int'l Flight. Cause they can interfere with alot of planes. So a much safer choice is Runway 34R, and 23.
International flights should also be treated like a domestic when it comes to runways. But it is highly recommended to land them at runway 34L and 22, where the Terminal is much closer.
