The North International Terminal (Also known as the North Int'l Wing) is one of two international terminals at Kansai Airport in Airport Hero Osaka-KIX.

Terminal Information

Description

At Kansai Airport, the international section is split into two parts. The North International Terminal is part of one large building on the lower half of the airport. This building also includes the domestic terminal and the South Int'l Terminal.

The North Wing has five gates. The bridges wrap around the terminal, so there is enough space for planes to push back without worrying about causing a near miss. (This was an issue in Honolulu's terminal) There is a clear gap between its gates and the domestic terminal's gates.

Control

This terminal is noticeably busier than the South Wing. It is close to runway 24L, making it the prime option, however due to the number of arriving flights landing on runway 06R this may not always be an option. High priority flights can head to the opposite end and take off there. For flights on 24L, watch out for JCG planes leaving the nearby hangar.

Landing and taking off from the back runways is not recommended, as this will put it in the path of Air Phoenix and Japan Sky flights.

Airlines

The following airlines use this terminal. There are no domestic flights here.
