An arriving KWA 777 sits near an Air Euro A380
Korean Airways is an airline in Airport Hero Narita.
Description
Korean Airways is a somewhat common airline in the game, with usually one appearing every stage. They are currently the only Korean airline in the game, and although they didn't make it to Airport Hero Osaka-KIX it's fairly likely they will appear in future games. They loosely represent Korean Air. They are also one of three airlines at Narita that use the Airbus A380.
KWA appears in Narita Terminal 1, the international terminal. They often operate high-occupancy flights from Japan to destinations in East Asia, including Incheon, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Gimhae, Seoul, Their A380s will usually appear in the 2nd A380 gate in the terminal.
KWA flights should be treated like a Sky German flight. They mostly use large planes like the A380 and 747, which can only use Runway A since they require more runway to stop. Once on the ground, the player can be flexible as long as the taxiways aren't crowded. The only problem is that A380s need a specific gate. When there is no choice but to go through a crowded taxiway, keep the plane separate as it's huge size may cause a near miss. Be prepared to hold the plane frequently.
If a smaller plane like a 767, A330, or 777 appears, try to lead them to the other runway unless Runway A is pretty much clear. Use caution when traveling through the Terminal 2 area, as there could be JNL flights nearby.
The is one Camera Stage where a KWA 747 appears as an air service. Since airserves move slower, more caution is needed.
In another camera stage, a player reported a Korean Airways flight as an Emergency Flight. This was the first appearance of an emergency other than an Air Sonic aircraft.
