Note: For simplicity, we will include different variants of aircraft as one section, for example, the Boeing 777-200 and 777-200ER will be included as one under "777-200". Freighter versions of aircraft will be kept separate.

Airbus

Lake was a smaller family-run company that produced aquatic airplanes. In 2009, the owner put the company up for sale and retired.

Piper is one of the "Big Three" general aviation companies, along with Cessna and Beechcraft. They are most famous for their Cub and Cherokee planes.

McDonnell Douglas was a leading aircraft corporation. They are more recognized for their fighter jets but also produced the very popular DC-10 and MD-11 three-engine airliners.
