A Taiwan Southern 747 taxis to Terminal 2 from the airserve terminal
The Narita Airserve Terminal (also known as the Air Service Terminal and the Service Terminal) is one of the four terminals in Airport Hero Narita.
Terminal Information
A PAC MD-11 prepares to be towed.
This Pacific Air MD-11 is ready to be towed from the airserve area to the cargo section.
Description
This terminal is in a rather secluded spot. It is as the easternmost section of the airport. The terminal itself is a large apron, surrounded by hangars, warehouses, offices, and several other buildings. It is likely these buildings are used for aircraft maintenance and general aviation.
The terminal is only used for airserves, as the name suggests. Planes that are not in use will be towed to and from here and around other terminals in Narita Airport. Occasionally, players will see unused planes parked in the area.
It is also at the beginning of runway 34L, so there will be flights buzzing around the area.
Control
This is likely the least busy terminal in the AH games, but it is not without its dangers.
The towed aircraft are definitely the most important thing to keep track of in this area, but certainly not the only danger. Planes that are towed travel at the slowest speed no matter which taxiway they are one. Any active flight taxiing behind an airserve will eventually catch up and cause a collision. To avoid this, always give airserves a clear, less busy taxiway.
The other concern is the volume of traffic that can surround the service terminal. It is near runway 34L, which is considered Narita's primary, and a junction in the taxiway that splits the flow of traffic between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Because of these factors, it is important to note how many flights are in the area and where they are before giving the go-ahead to a towed plane.
Airlines
Technically, any airplane from any airline can use the airserve terminal, but these are the ones that have been seen in the terminal:
